Quilt size: 72” x 48” without borders
84” x 60” with borders as shown
Fabric Requirements:
Nondirectional fabrics work best for this quilt.
Dark fabrics: 1/2 yard each of 6
Light fabrics: 1/2 yard each of 6 in colors that correspond to darks
Top and bottom triangles: 1/3 yard or 1 fat quarter
Inner border: 1/2 yard
Outer border: 2 1/4 yards, cut lengthwise or
1 1/4 yards, cut crosswise
Backing - 3 yards for quilt without borders, pieced crosswise
5 yards for quilt with borders, pieced lengthwise
Binding - 1/2 yard
Special Equipment:
24” x 6” or 24” x 6 1/2” ruler with 45° angle marks
