Join The Club Update
UPDATED: November 5th, 2008
Things have been kind of slow in the marketing department* here—Jane’s busy working on a new book and Patricia’s been flat on her back for weeks. But being supine doesn’t mean that the design department has shut down. On the contrary, since Patricia has limited energy, she’s been playing on the computer and you know what that means: new pantos. The latest is Pipeline, and those of you who are, were or know surfers will understand it immediately. For the rest of you, think waves.
But our most exciting news is the creation of our new club, which in turn requires another whole department, Essential Elementz. You’ve heard of the Book of the Month and the Fruit of the Month clubs, right? Well, starting in December ( originally slated to start in Janaury but due to an overwelming response we've moved the date up ) we’re instituting the Panto of the Month Club—same idea, except this is something you might actually want. What could be better for a quilter (with the possible exception of the Wine of the Month Club)?! Here’s the deal: you join the club—no membership fee—by clicking on Products, then Essential Elementz. If you click the Subscribe button you’ll be sent to a Pay Pal page where you can sign up. Your credit card will automatically be charged $19.95 a month. Second, we send you a panto in the first week of each month, but this isn’t just a panto. In addition to the standard 144” panto, you will also receive at least 4 complementary designs for blocks, setting triangles and/or sashing, and those of you who regularly purchase pantos know that that’s a great deal. You can drop out any time by letting us know 2 weeks before the end of the month, so don’t worry: you’re not marrying us, we’re just dating. Patricia will post the panto on the website on the first of each month, but we’re giving you a sneak preview of the January starter…NOW! It’s on the Essential Elementz page.
But wait, there’s more! (I’m starting to feel like Ron Popeil here.) As a thank you gift, the first 12 enrolees will receive an unrelated block pattern with their first shipment. And if you combine the Panto Club with our Wish List feature, you might even get someone else to pay for it. This would be a great suggestion for the loved one—I hate to say husband because it sounds so sexist—who never knows what to get you on those pesky gift-giving occasions.
NOTE: A digital version (which includes files for Intelliquilter, Compuquilter, Statler Sticher, PC Quilter, HQ Pro-Stitcher and a WMF file) of the collection is also available at:

Okay, now I’m exhausted from being so enthusiastic and there’s also no more news. The weather in Miami has been glorious this week and I hear that it’s similar in New Braunfels. Hope it’s the same where you are.
Happy quilting, Patricia & Jane
